Jack's eagerly watching the postman draw near.

He's eagerly listening and what does he hear?

A small parcel's quietly dropped in the hall.

Oh, but eagerly opening is the best thing of all!

He's now eagerly pulling the contents from box

And now, eagerly, fingers grab new football socks.

They are warm on the legs and, with famous brand name,

It's for certain they’ll help win that next football game.
